Guides
The specification says what is normative. These say how to do it — and where a rule is normative they link to it rather than restating it, because two statements of one rule eventually disagree.
- Handing a runbook to an agent safely — you are integrating this catalog, or any catalog, into something that acts. You may never publish a record here, and this guide is still for you.
- Migrating existing ops documentation — you have runbooks in a wiki, a repository, or somebody's notes, and you want them in a form that is searchable now and runnable later.
- Reviewing a runbook — you are the second pair of eyes on a procedure someone else wrote.
- Writing a runbook — you have a procedure that works and you want it written down in a form an agent can be held to.
